I was asked to design a health-conscious sparkling hard tea brand made to dominate the Midwest golf courses and summertime as we know it. The outcome is a label that focuses on natural craft with rough textures to convey the "hard beverage" aspect.
Competition
Malt beverage alternatives like Mike's Hard and Twisted Tea go for a "party hard" brand identity. I went for a more natural approach that still incorporated rough textures for a familiar appearance that the Mike's and Twisted Tea drinkers could align with.
Inspiration
The real fruit ingredients made me think of the Northern California fruit stands that you drive past and wanted a natural design that looks like it was plucked fresh right from the country orchards.
Outcome
Reme-Tea became the fastest growing malt beverage alternative in Remedy Brewing's portfolio, outpacing trendy hard seltzer.
